Summer Trip to EU

 This summer we spent nearly a month in the EU. Everyone was very excited. There were 2 and a half weeks in Scotland with Grannie, followed by a week in Italy. I also worked in Poland for a week and Cambridge for a couple days. Gramma also came along. She loves our trips to Europe and I love that she enjoys traveling with us. 

I did not do a good job of keep journals of what we did, but I want to share a few photos. 

Italy was so hot, that we struggled during the days. We spent more time in the hotel than anticipated. We even had to cut a couple of the tours short due to needing to find shade and cool. 

Highlights for the family besides being with Grannie, looking back, were the day at the beach in Italy. 

I really enjoyed my time with my colleagues in Warsaw. 

Ellie went to sleep away camp and she loved it!

 This summer Ellie decided to give Young Life summer camp a try. I think her driver was getting away from me, but that's okay. 

Good news is that she really enjoyed herself and I think she built some good relationships. I don't have many pictures and they took her phone for the week. 

I captured a couple pictures of the bus packing up early Monday morning. 

When she got home, she was exhausted and full of stories. Young Life is a lot of fun for teens. I'm thankful for this journey for Ellie.
