Stockings from Santa

Christmas was so overwhelming with so many presents and two days packed full of visits and busyiness, that we didn't get to our stockings until this evening. I think it was a good plan becuase Ellie really enjoyed the little things she found in her stocking. I believe her two favorites were, "My very own pink nail polish." and "My first Tick - A - Tacks!" Max was less then impressed with anything except the small bottles of hand sanitizer that Grampa found in his. It's nice to draw Christmas out. We did this as a kid and I'm glad to share that tradition with my kids too. It's been a really great Christmas and I'm happy to have more time coming to just enjoy being home with the kids. I'm with them for nearly two weeks and I'm so greatful for this time!
