Another softball season begins

This will be Ellie’s eighth season playing softball. She’s been playing since she was almost 7. I’ve been coaching her for most of this time. I never realized what a great journey this would be. I love watching Eli play and seeing her skills grow. I also have the most relaxing times of the week on the field with the girls hitting them balls and teaching them the game.

This season as we rolled into the park for the first time, Ellie took the gear with her. I am proud of her for helping me out. She may have been most interested in pulling the wagon, but nonetheless she took the equipment to the field. She’s growing up so fast.
