Dancing in the puddles

Tonight we had big summer storms. Ellie and I came home after softball practice and running some errands and there were puddles on the floor of the driveway. She went inside put on my rain boots and came out side to dance in the puddle. She was adorable they’re in her softball uniform - black top and white pants with red socks - and her double French braid pigtails dancing and performing in the puddle with a smile on her face. I wish I could’ve taken a picture but I didn’t have my phone. I can only hope to remember that forever. I love to watch the kids enjoy the simple things in life.
