Today I took Ellie and Max to The Barthlows for a Memorial Day Party. David was sick, but I was determined to let them both go swimming. I thought for sure Max would love the big pool. I was wrong! He hated it. He wouldn't stop screaming in it, even when I was holding him. It made me sad. After about 5 minutes I let Gramma take him and he felt much better just sitting there cuddling her. I'm not sure why he wasn't interested. I am hoping for better luck next time.
Ellie on the other hand, enjoyed her swiming - as long as she was floating inside the crabby - our floating tube. She got in twice and had a nice time. I got to play some with her and Erika and Amy while Gramma had Max.
We had a nice evening. Max even got to experience his first crawling around on grass, much to his Mamma's dismay. It was good to see the family and enjoy an evening outdoors before the swelter of summer hits!
