While Grannie and Millar have been here taking care of the kids, one of the best things is coming in after work to the greetings Max has been delivering recently. He gets so excited when he hears me or sees me. He requires me to go to him and hold him immediately. It's so exciting the way he squeals and the smiles he gives me. If Grannie is holding him he reaches for me so much - it's nearly a dive.
Max's excitement has also sparked Ellie to give me a bit of a running hug and smile on most days too. It makes me feel good when I come home from the long days away from my kids.
Although I wish I was home with them instead of working, I am thankful for the "Mommy Party" when I arrive home.
