A walk with Ellie

After dinner tonight, Gramma put Max to bed and let us take Ellie up to the beach for a special nite time walk on the beach. David and I both love sunset on the beach. We learned years ago we are more sunset people, not sunrise people. We wanted to share it with Ellie.

The beach was quite across from our place, besides several fisherman groups. Ellie was enjoying finding treasures as we walked. The waves were pretty good and the tide was pretty high. The moon was also coming up over the ocean. It was very beautiful.

We walked a while, and came upon some guys wrestling with something that turned out to be a small shark. We watched with amazement as they wrestled it back into the sea. It was a bit wild to me.
