Day 2 - Brooklyn

Today We had an easy breakfast, and jumped on the train to head to Brooklyn. I thought the kids would really enjoy the MTA Subway transit Museum. I think I was right. They really enjoyed seeing the trains, tools and jumping in and pretending to drive trains and buses.

The funny part for David and I was after arriving in Brooklyn and walking on the streets for two minutes, Ellie asks "what happened to the Yellow cars mommy? " She's already seeing differences between Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The kids highlight was absolutely riding the train. They both told me they enjoyed the long ride to Brooklyn. When I told Ellie she had just gone under water in a train she got the biggest smile on her face.

We left just around two as we planned and more home before seven. The weekend turned out very nicely. I'm very glad we did it.
