Extremely thankful for my job this morning

This morning Max needed to go to the doctors. Even though I had a very busy schedule at work today, I was able to take him. When the doctor told me he had a bulging eardrum, I decided to Stay home with him because I know he's feeling miserable. Technically, since he doesn't have a fever, he could go to daycare. I think many moms have no choice but to take their sick kids to daycare because they need to be at work or face consequences. I'm so thankful for the flexibility I currently have in my job so I can make a choice to sit home with him where he's most comfortable.

I was sitting on the floor with max putting together his digger puzzle when I had this overwhelming feeling. He's my one and only son and I love him so very much!
